In Loving Memory of Beverly Ann Morissette
1959–2026

It is with heavy and saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Beverly Ann Morissette (née Huffman), who passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, August 27, 2026, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.

Beverly was the beloved wife and best friend of Roch Morissette, with whom she shared many cherished years and wonderful memories. She will be deeply missed by her loving family, including her dear brother Bob (Laurie), her sisters Sherry (Brian) and Brenda, as well as her many nieces and nephews and all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Beverly was predeceased by her parents, William and Norma Huffman, and by her siblings Diane, Donna, Jack, and Wayne.

Beverly was a creative and artistic soul who found great joy in quilting and sewing. She had a special talent for creating beautiful things with her hands, and her creativity was a wonderful reflection of the care and love she put into everything she did. Her artistic spirit, gentle nature, and the warmth she shared with those around her will be fondly remembered. Above all, Beverly will be remembered for the love she had for her family and the special place she held in the hearts of those who knew her. She treasured the time spent with the people she loved, and the memories they created together will be cherished forever. Her kindness, laughter, and loving presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses and caregivers who provided her with compassionate care, support, and assistance with her daily needs.

The family invites relatives and friends to join them in remembering and celebrating Beverly’s life at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTER, 827 East Main Street, Welland, on Saturday, September 19, 2026. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., with a service to honour Beverly’s life taking place in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Following the service, Beverly will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery. In memory of Beverly, the family kindly requests that donations be made to C.O.P.D. Niagara, an organization close to the family’s heart.
