Obituary of Irene Vincelette
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Irene Vincelette (née Chenier) on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Woodlands of Sunset, at the age of 82.
Irene was the beloved wife of Gerard Vincelette and a cherished mother to Richard (Gail), Nicole (Roger), and Carole (Doug). She will be forever remembered and deeply missed by her grandchild, Stephen (Alyssa), and her dear best friends, Jacinthe, Toni, and Rose.
Irene was predeceased by her parents, Aldege and Marion Chenier, her cherished son Denis and her brothers and sisters.
Flo loved playing her guitar, sewing and spending time with her family.
Her infectious laugh and love of good humour will live in our hearts.

The family invites friends and relatives to celebrate Irene at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 827 East Main St., Welland, on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a chapel service to follow at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Irene’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Hope Centre.
