Obituary of Phyllis D'Amico

Obituary D'AMICO - Phyllis, nee Borgatti, born in Welland, passed peacefully on February 15, 2019, in her 96th year, at Brantford General Hospital. Beloved wife of Louis D'Amico (deceased May 1, 1993). Dear sister of June Girard and her husband Roger of London. Predeceased by her sister Jacqueline Burnham of Dearborn Michigan. Phyllis will be dearly missed by her nieces, Marylyn Triano, Jacqueline Kaye (John) and Marcelle Farrugia (Roger). Also survived by many great nieces and nephews who will remember her joyful nature. Marylyn and Jacqueline will cherish the moments they shared with Phyllis while caring for her in her later years. Phyllis worked at the Plymouth Cortage in Welland but enjoyed the majority of her working years as a talented florist. Phyllis resided in Buffalo N.Y. with her husband for many years before they returned to Canada. She spent the last three years of her life at Telfer Place assisted living residence in Paris, Ontario. Friends may call at the Welland Funeral Home 827 East Main St. Welland, February 22, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
