Obituary of Philippe Morin

Obituary It is with saddened hearts we announce Phil's death on February 14, 2019 at the age of 72. Devoted husband of Lucille (Langlais). Loving father of Phil Jr. (Sylvie), Raymond (Shirley) and René (Sheri). Adored grandpa of Miranda, Gavin, Mason, Alyssa, Shanelle, Emma and Leah. Dear brother of Pierrette Misener, Berthe Deschamps (Roland) and Rita Fortier (Rock). Predeceased by his parents Pierre and Cécile (Dupuis) and his wife Monique (2000). Phil was devoted to his family and proud of his children and grandchildren. His passion was helping and healing others through their spiritual and physical needs. He was selfless and always put the focus on everyone else. Never denying care to anyone, he would accommodate them by extending his expertise into their homes. He was the owner/operator of "Phil's Health Centre". His skills continued as an Ergonomics & Placement Rep within his 24 years at General Motors as well as his apprenticeship at the Pelham Chiropractic Clinic. Phil was loyal to his faith, attending church daily. He was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus Assembly #0873 and a member of Chevaliers de Colomb Conseil 8296. The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME 827 East Main Street, Welland on Tuesday, February19, 2019 from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. and Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Paroisse Sacré Coeur, 72 Empire St., Welland on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, dedicated masses & donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to the Mark Preece Family House.
