Obituary of Deborah Potter
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Deborah Ann Potter (née Godin) on January 19, 2024, at the age of 62. She leaves behind a legacy of love as the dear mother of Jeffrey Potter (Jody Lau) and Kimberly Potter (Tyler Fedorowich), and cherished grandma of Ayla, Levi, and Violet.
Debbie was the beloved daughter of Douglas and Rita Godin (née Wilson), sister to Dan Godin and Sandy Godin, and aunt to her nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Darrell Potter, in 2007, yet their enduring love remains a testament to the timeless bond they shared.
Debbie found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her green thumb transformed her garden into a sanctuary of colors and fragrant blooms, a reflection of her inner beauty and appreciation for nature. Her passion for writing was a mirror to her vibrant spirit, leaving behind a legacy of stories and expressions that continue to inspire and resonate. Debbie dedicated over two decades to Canadian Tire Financial Services, leaving a lasting impact through her dedication and hard work.
Debbie's legacy of love and kindness will be dearly missed by her family, friends, neighbors, and her cherished fur babies, Emi and Max, who provided her with companionship and unconditional love. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
