Quel choc émotionnel j’ai vécu à l’annonce du décès de Yolande, ma cousine. Je croyais vivre un mauvais rêve. Je lui avais parlé quelques jours auparavant. Nous partagions des souvenirs du temps passé.

Dear Jacinthe,
Our family would like to extend our sincere condolences to you, your siblings, and their families during this time of deep sadness. I have fond memories of your mom during our school days and her warmth and kindness will always be remembered fondly. Our mom Shirley also has dear memories and recalls working with her at General Tire, and when they saw one another they would often reminisce about those days, and then in later years they often would see one another at la Paroisse de Sacre Coeur where they would always exchange smiles and signs of peace.
Praying that you and your family find peace through the healing power of love and may all the wonderful memories of your dear mother bring you strength in your time of sorrow.

C'est depuis 1996 que je vois le beau sourire de Yolande. Comme ado, elle et José nous saluaient toujours de leur galerie en passant devant chez eux. Comme adulte, toujours dans le même quartier, Yolande passait souvent chez nous pendant sa marche, elle aimait voir les enfants qui jouaient et à parler de ce qui se passait dans nos vies. Je me manque déjà de sa belle face souriante, toujours de bonne humeur et prête à t'écouter. Mes condoléances les plus sincères à ta belle famille ❤️
