Obituary of Marie Gilberte Larocque

With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Gilberte Marie Larocque ( nee Guignard) at the age of 81 at Hotel Dieu Shaver on March 3, 2024. Beloved wife to the late Leopold Larocque , Loving mother to Daniel (Karen ) , Linda ( Rolland ) , Marcel ( Pamela ) and Sylvia ( Danny ) . She will be missed by her grandchildren and great grandchildren . Dear sister to Lorraine ,Julian , Ernest , Germaine, Olivette , Claude and Raymonde . Predeceased by her parents Yvon and Adele, as well as her brothers Hector and Pierre. She will be missed by her family and friends .

We would like to thank all the staff from Hotel Dieu Shaver for their amazing care and compassion towards our mother .

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE. Keeping with Gilberte wishes cremation has taken place. A private celebration will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Hotel Dieu Shaver in St Catharines would be greatly appreciated by the family.
