Obituary of Donald David Findlay

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Don Findlay after a brief struggle with cancer April 3, 2024, at the age of 74. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Georgette and was predeceased by his son and best friend Brian in 2009. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Don worked for many years at Atlas Steele and when he retired, he became a tax accountant. Don was a loving and giving person who touched many people. He loved hunting, camping and Jehovah. He was baptized in 1969 and stayed faithful in the hope of the resurrection until his final breath.

In honoring Don’s final wishes, the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE has been entrusted with overseeing his arrangements. A memorial service at the Port Colborne Kingdom Hall will be held at a later date. Thank you to everyone for your tender support.
