Obituary of Céline Marie Owens
It is with shock and much sadness that we announce the passing of Céline (Lamarche) Owens. Wife of the late Harold Owens. Predeceased by her parents Gertrude (Lemelin) Lamarche and Florent Lamarche. She was a loving mother to Sean and Steven Owens. Grandma of much-loved Grand-dog Ziggy. She was the sister of Diane (Lamarche) (Claude) Bisson and Andy (Pam) Lamarche. Dear aunt to Jean-Claude Bisson, Michel Bisson, Natalie (Michel) Lamarche, Cindy (Ray) Lamarche, and great-aunt of Amanda Lamarche and Braedan Cascagnette. Céline will be greatly missed by many in-laws, cousins, as well as her sorority sisters and best friends.
Céline worked as a credit collector at Beatties for 29 years. She enjoyed playing the slots, singing, dancing and yodeling. She was a true Toronto Blue Jays fan. Céline was very passionate about helping the less fortunate. Her generosity was well noticed and surely appreciated through donations of food and clothing to help the needy.
Following Céline’s wishes cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life may be held at a later date.
In honour of Céline’s love for dogs, donations can be made to the Humane Society or to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
