Obituary of Marie-Anne Suzanne Grenier
Marie-Anne (née Rodrigue) Grenier passed away peacefully at the Niagara Health St. Catharines Hospital on May 4, 2024, at the age of 73. She will be deeply missed by her devoted husband “Amour” Daniel Grenier. Cherished mother of Céline Paillé, Jacqueline (Richard) Caron, and Serge (Rosanne Demers) Paillé. Forever in the hearts of her grandchildren; Danyel, Emily, and Hailey Caron, Keira Weltz, Lucien and Sébastien Paillé. Marie-Anne will also be fondly remembered by her stepsons Mark (Pamela) Grenier and Paul (Mellissa) Grenier as well as André, Patricia, Ally, Kayden, Michael and Wyl Grenier. Dear sister of; Rejeanne (the late Léon) Doucet, Arthur (the late Lisette) Rodrigue, Joseph (the late Sharon) Rodrigue, Yolande (Robert) Paré, Phillippe (Lora) Rodrigue, Rose-Marie (Gerry) Forrest, Paul (Debbie) Rodrigue, Laurette Rodrigue and Normand (Debbie) Rodrigue. She will be missed by her sisters-in-law Dianne Duguay, Rachel Grenier and Pauline (Gerald) Nöel, as well as many nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by her parents Raymond and Annette (née Lessard) Rodrigue and bébé Claire.
Marie-Anne had a passion for life and found joy in the company of her cherished friends, her loving family, and her hobbies, including her enthusiasm for wrestling and her adoration of Betty Boop. She leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & RECEPTION CENTRE 827 East Main St., Welland on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, from 2-4p.m. & 6-8p.m. A funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 11a.m. in the Welland Funeral Home Chapel. Followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Hotel Dieu Shaver Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
