Dilio,
I am very sorry to hear of Danny's passing. Danny was a kind, gentle soul, loved by all who knew him. I have many fond memories of Danny and my Dad (Marino) and the good times they had together. It is through these memories that they live on forever. May you find comfort in your memories.

From the sports fields and playgrounds Danny was always a welcome sight; always kibitzing with whoever was there. He would umpire or 'manage' a team. We all enjoyed Danny. Only a few years older, many of us 'old guys' fondly remember him at First St diamonds or Burger. He was a joy to be around and will be remembered as a friend to all. Condolences to the family.

Dillio & family,
Our sincere condolences in the passing of Danny. He was such a friendly, caring guy that we enjoyed sharing laughs with at Tim Horton’s. You had to be careful what you told Danny because you knew he would never forget it. He had such a wonderful memory.
He will be missed.

I remember Danny well. I liked him. He was such an innocent and happy man. My uncle, aunt and cousin lived a few houses from him.....Ed, Bruna and Anne Perenack. From time to time Danny would stop and visit when we were outside. He is now at rest. God has great love and mercy for the innocent and Danny was an innocent soul.

My sincere condolences. Danny was such a gentle soul and he brightened my day every day I saw and spoke with him. I grew up just around the corner on Harrison and spoke with him countless times over the years. He used to visit us at the A&P on Main St. and we all loved having him around. Danny made me a better person. Rest in Peace Prince. Your enthusiasm and love for all of us will be missed.

Danny was our next door neighbour for many years. Our family has fond memories of him strolling around, chatting with anyone who happened to be outside. He had an uncanny ability to sniff out a party or BBQ and would always be there to join in (and eat the chips). We all took turns keeping Danny happy and engaged. He enjoyed a good joke, and he knew what it meant to be a good friend. We will miss hearing his voice ring out from down the street, "I KNOW YOU!" or "I DON'T WANT TO MARRY YOU...YOU GOT A FUNNY FACE!" or "GIT OUTA HERE!" Rest in peace dear Danny. You were one of a kind and the "mayor" of our street. Sincere condolences to your family.

So sad to know that McAlpine's icon is gone...he's probably found "Eddie" already and is avoiding the shovel dad always wanted to hand him...RIP Danny. You truly WILL be missed.
