Obituary of Marnie Frances Heise
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marnie Heise (née Dick) on Monday, August 12, 2024, at the age of 75. Marnie was the beloved best friend and wife to Marlin Heise. She was a cherished mother to Constance Terreberry (Stephane), Marla Terreberry-Portfilio (Tony), William Terreberry (Jamille), Julie Heise-Morris (Dean), and Jason Heise (Sheree). Marnie will be deeply missed by her 15 grandchildren, many siblings, extended family, and friends.
A lifelong resident of the Niagara Region, Marnie had a long and dedicated career in nursing. As a child, she created many fond memories summering on Manitoulin Island. Her love for travel took her to the West Coast, where she marveled at the mountains, and to Austria and Cuba. She cherished family reunions and picnics, but above all, she loved cottage life.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 827 East Main Street, Welland, on Friday, August 16, 2024, from 10-11 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Alzheimer Society of Niagara Region would be greatly appreciated by the family.
