1945-2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Henriette Proulx in her 80th year, on Monday October 21st 2024 at the Foyer Richelieu. Cherished wife of Donald Proulx for 62 years, mother of Joanne (Sylvain) and Sylvie (Steve). Grandmother to Eric (Joanie), Tanya (Mike), Cassey, Janelle (Kieran) and Danielle (Phito). Great-grandmother to 11 and great great grandmother to 1.
She will be remembered by her siblings, her in-laws and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Henri and Simone Charbonneau and brother Aurèle. Henriette enjoyed snowmobiling and camping for many years but her first love was her family and cooking for them. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Foyer Richelieu team. A special thanks to Joanne and Micheline for their compassion.
The family invites relatives and friends to join them at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 827 East Main St., Welland, on Tuesday, October 29 2024, from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. with vigil prayers starting at 7:30 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Fonds Foyer Richelieu would be greatly appreciated by the family.
