Obituary The family of Anna Lachance wish to announce her peaceful passing on September 24th, 2018 at her residence, West Park Health Centre in St. Catharines at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Leo Lachance (1994). Loving mother of Lorraine, Sister of the Sacred Heart, Ottawa, Maurice (Therese), Rockland, Aline (Wally) Domagala, Welland, the late John (Kim), Hamilton, Claudette (Jochen) Zieschang, Wainfleet, Pierrette (Roger) Pigeon, Welland, Liliane (Rudy) Lukacs, Port Colborne and Monique Riendeau, Ottawa (close family friend). She will also be missed by her grandchildren: Paul (Jennifer), Vicki (Andrew), Bradley (Linda), Jennifer (Ty), Lori (Zach), Jochen Jr (Mei Lu), James (Ali), Alex (Lorie), Warren (Tiffany), Daniel (Elise), Carl & Matthew (Denise). She will also be missed by her 12 great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her sisters Berthe (late Leo) Gauthier, Ottawa, Laurette (late Hugh) Leriche, Mississauga, her brothers Joe (Cora) Ducharme, Sturgeon Falls, Andre (Rollande) Ducharme, Verner and her brother-in-law Colin Balderson, Penetanguishene. Predeceased by her Sisters Jeanne (late Clarence) Meloche, Alice (late Andrew) Trepanier, Rita (late George) Lavallee, Claire (late Claude) Brochu, Florence (late Guy) Brochu, Marie-Ange (late Luc) Coursol, Simone (late Romeo) Levac, Susanne Balderson and her brother Albert (late Therese) Ducharme. Family and friends will be received at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, 827 East Main St, Welland on Friday September 28, 2018 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Eglise du Sacre-Coeur. The Rite of Committal will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations in her memory can be made to the Canadian National Institute of the Blind or Heart & Stroke Foundation. The family would like to thank the staff of West Park Health Centre for their compassion and care during her 5 year stay and thank Dr. T. Kanungo & Dr. G. Arvinte for their great care.
