Obituary of Rose Therrien

Obituary Rose Therrien, a resident at Foyer Richelieu was called to Heaven on Thursday, May 31st, 2018 at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Henri Therrien. Loving mother of Roger Therrien and his wife Meribeth Edwards and cherished grandmother of Vanessa and Ashton Therrien; all of Hanover Massachusetts. Pre-deceased by her loving niece Claudette Doiron. Rose will be greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews and friends in Welland and Quebec. Born and raised in Buckland Québec, Rose came to Welland in the early 1940's where she raised her family. After retiring from Wabasso Cotton Mills following many years of service, she devoted her time to her grandchildren and gardening and traveling. Rose was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Church. We wish to thank the amazing staff and volunteers at the Foyer Richelieu for their kindness and care throughout all of her stay there. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to WELLAND FUNERAL HOME. A mass and interment at Holy Cross Cemetery will occur at a future date yet to be determined.
