Obituary of Ivan Frechette

Obituary Peacefully, at Rapelje Lodge on April 16th, 2018 Ivan Frechette passed away at the age of 80. Loving father of Mark (Chantal). He will be forever in the hearts of his grandchildren; Bryce, Brayden and Brody. Dear brother of Renée (John Tétreault), Andrée (the late Andy Demers), Gilles (Yvonne), Serge (the late Lynn). He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Rauol and Louise Frechette. Prior to his retirement, Ivan was employed as a crank operator at General Motors for many years. He enjoyed bowling in a weekly men's league, horse races at Fort Erie Race Track. He was also a long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 4, Welland. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a time of gathering for a celebration of Ivan's life at the Royal Canadian Legion on 383 Morningstar Ave., Welland on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 1-3 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in his memory are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society.
