Obituary TURPIN, Louis 1960-2018 It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis Turpin, March 15th, 2018, at the age of 57. Beloved father of Renée Thatcher (Austin). Devoted partner of Angie Bateman. He is survived by his father Raymond, brother Denis (Mark) and sister Lise (Pete Danch). He will be sadly missed by 2 grandchildren, Lukas and Aubree. He leaves behind his step daughters Shayna and Tanya, as well as 2 step grandchildren; Tristyn and Mikayla. Louis will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law Danielle, as well as, nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his mother Marie (née Legault) and brother Mike Turpin. Louis had many passions, his first love was cars/garage; he also loved his work with the casino; and his volunteer placement with the Thorold Fire Department. Louis was always ready to give a helping hand to anyone who asked. In accordance with Louis' wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME 827 East Main Street, Welland on Tuesday, March 20th, 2018 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, March 21st, 2018 at 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Humane Society and Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
