Obituary of Armand Lamontagne

Obituary It is with heavy hearts & thanks giving for a life well lived that we announce the passing of our dad Armand Lamontagne on Sunday March 11th, 2018 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Marguerite (née Loranger) (2015) of 69 1/2 years of marriage. Loving father of Jerry (Dianne), John (Shirley), Dani (Barb) and Rosanne (Rick Rumsby). Dear brother of Marie-Paule Hardy (late Frank), Aline Hardy (Léonce), Ronald (Ginette), Lucette Vittie (late Don), Raymond (late Nancy). Brother-In-Law & good friend to Bill Rowell. He will be lovingly remembered by his 8 grandchildren; Shawn (Tracy), Todd, Aaron (Marisa), Joshua (Lisa), Michelle (Steve), Lianne (Devin), Ryan (Amy) and Randy (Sarah) and his 15 great grandchildren; Clayton, Johnathan, Acadia, Daniel, Chris, Robyn, Samantha, Seleena, Olivia, Austin, Aubrie, Madison, Mackenzie, Jack and Alex. Predeceased by his parents Philemon and Rose Lamontagne, his brothers Lucien, Donat and Fernand. Armand was a gentle soul & selfless man. In his earlier years, he enjoyed bowling, camping & wintered in Florida. He retired from Sunnyside Dairy after 32 years. The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME 827 East Main St. Welland, on Friday, March 16th, 2018 from 10 a.m. until the service time at 12 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
