Obituary of Céline Paquette

Obituary At Foyer Richelieu Welland on February 16th, 2018, Céline (nee Laplante) Grenier-Paquette passed away at the age of 89. Loving sister of Martine. Dear friend of Ed & Marie Bélanger. She will be sadly missed by her step-sons and step-daughters, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Gédéon and Alfredina (nee Couture) Laplante, her first husband Alphé Grenier , second husband Léonard Paquette and her sister Patricia. Céline was born in Thedford Mines, Québec and moved to reside in Welland where she worked at Wabasso Cotton Mill for several years. Visitation will take place at WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, 827 East Main St., Welland on Wednesday (today), Februrary 21, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Paroisse Sacré Coeur. Interment at Holy Cross will follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Fonds Foyer Richelieu will be appreciated.
