Obituary of Mary Jo Pandur

PANDUR (Forand), Mary Jo Geraldine - Passed away suddenly at the Niagara Falls General Hospital on Friday, December 8, 2017 at the age of 66. She will be sadly missed by her brothers and sisters: Russ (Loree) Forand of Kelowna, Robbie (Gibby) Doucette of Welland, Sandy (Steve Camus) Forand of Welland, Gerrie (Dave Hickman) Forand of Calgary, and Bob (Lauri) Forand of Welland. Aunt Mary Jo was loved by her many nieces and nephews: Jennifer (Dan), Jodi (Jody), Holly, Russell (Andrea), Kaesha (Darrell), Neil (Lindsay), Kevin (Jackie), Russell (Chelsea) and their children. She enjoyed the special occasions when the big Forand clan came together to share food, fun, drinks and laughter. Mary Jo loved to travel and visited many wonderful places in the world including Belize, Holland and France. She enjoyed meeting new friends and was always interested in hearing their stories and sharing her own. Her unique sense of humour was appreciated by everyone that met her – she always left an impression. She was a nurse for over 40 years at St. Catharines General Hospital and prided herself on giving attentive but candid care to her patients. Her co-workers appreciated her spirit of fun and hard work ethics. Mary Jo was predeceased by parents – Bob & Verlie Forand. A Celebration of Mary Jo’s Life will be held on Thursday, December 14th at the Welland Legion (downstairs) from 2pm to 6pm.
