Obituary of Pauline Guillemette

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Pauline Guillemette (nee Laverdière) on November 22nd, 2017 surrounded by her loving family at the Welland Hospital at the age of 74. Beloved wife of the late Floriant Guillemette. Cherished mother of Julie (Andy De Jager), Paul (Lori) and Anne Guillemette-Kore (Bob). She will be forever in the hearts of her grandchildren; Jonathan & Cassandra De Jager, Brad (Kelsey) & Emily Guillemette and Brianna Kore. Dear sister of Denis (Joan), René (Yollande), Cécile Lucas (the late Gino), Marguerite O'Toole, Émile (Danielle) and sister-in-law of Carol Laverdière. She will also be missed by her extended family on the Guillemette side and brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Séraphin and Alice (nee Fournier) Laverdière and one brother Jean-Baptiste. Pauline always put everyone before herself. She enjoyed spending time with her family and volunteered many hours with palliative care and bereavement groups. She loved animals and will be tremendously missed by her fur-baby Coco. In accordance with Pauline's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family invite relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME 827 East Main Street, Welland on Saturday, November 25th, 2017 from 10 until service time at 12 noon at the funeral home.
