Obituary of Albert Girard

GIRARD - Albert "Bert" AKA 'Joe' Peacefully with his loving family at his side at the ECU Welland Hospital Site on Tuesday, January 31st, 2017. Devoted husband of Jeannine (Née Séguin). Loving father of Dennis Girard and Linda Girard. Dear brother of Edgar (Lucille), Fernand (Emma), Denis-Paul (Jeannine), Conrad (the late Anita), Laurie (Huguette), Lucien (Betty) and André (Mariette). He will be sadly missed by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also leaves behind an extended family and many friends. Predeceased by his parents Léo and Marie-Rose (Tousignant) Girard and one sister Lina. Albert was a member of the Eastern Ontario Gunners Association and Legion Branch 4. Respecting Albert's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations Cystic Fibrosis or Canadian Cancer Society will be appreciated by the family. Service Information
