Obituary of Marc Richard Gratton

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Marc Richard Gratton at his residence on January 26th, 2017 at the age of 45. He will be sorely missed by his siblings Micheline (Tom), Normand (Linda), Réjean (Elaine), Michel (Pauline), partner Lori Bailey, and his nieces and nephews, Dana, Jenelle, Elyse, Kyle, Justin, Eryk, and Gabriel. Marc was predeceased by his beloved parents (Adrienne and Leo). Marc loved rock music and enjoyed jamming and open mic sessions with friends and family. When he wasn't playing his drums or working, you could find him relaxing with friends, fishing, spending precious time with his nieces and nephews, riding his Harley, or cruising around in his Jeep. Marc was a big-hearted, gregarious, and fun-loving guy. His laughter and his caring and loving nature will be deeply missed. There are no words to describe the void he leaves behind. In accordance with Marc's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME 827 East Main Street, Welland, Friday, February 3rd, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A private burial will take place at a later date.
