Obituary of Marie-Ange Thibault

THIBAULT, Marie-Ange (née Lessard) - passed away peacefully in Ottawa on December 29th, 2016 at the age of 93. Predeceased by Nazaire, her loving husband of 62 years. Loving mother of Rose-Hélène (the late Ronald) of Ottawa. Cherished grand-mother of Eva (Robert). Survived by brother Jean-Marie. Predeceased by her parents Blanche Laliberté and Arthur Lessard, sisters Marie-Claire (Josaphat), Albertine (Alidor), Eva (Alphonse), Annette (Raymond), Cécile (Gérard), Thérèse (Léopold) and brothers Benoît, Albert, Polycarpe (Jeannette) Gérard and Louis (Ghislaine). She will be missed by goddaughter Yolande, many nephews and nieces in Welland and Quebec, as well as friends from the Résidence Richelieu and the Cercle d'artisanat, of which she was a member for 45 years. The family will receive their friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, 827 East Main St. in Welland on Monday, January 2nd, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017 from 9:30 until service time at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel. Cremation will follow. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family as an expression of sympathy. Please, no flowers. We would like to express our deepest appreciation to family and friends who have helped in so many ways throughout the years, especially Nicole Laroche, Denis and Anita Bilodeau. Elle manquera à sa filleule Yolande, ses neveux et nièces à Welland et au Québec, ainsi qu'à ses nombreux ami(e)s à la Résidence Richelieu et au Cercle d'artisanat, dont elle était membre pendant 45 années. La famille recevra leurs amis au SALON FUNÉRAIRE WELLAND, 827, rue Main Est à Welland, le lundi 2 janvier, 2017 de 19 h à 21 h et le mardi 3 janvier, 2017 de 9h30 à 10h30. Le service suivra au salon funéraire à 10h30. Incinération suivra. En témoignage de sympathie, un don à un organisme de bienfaisance de votre choix serait apprécié par la famille.
