Obituary of Denis Chabot

Obituary DENIS CHABOT - October 14th, 1947 - November 4th, 2019 It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Denis Chabot. Dear brother of Aline (Ted) Landry. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews; Toni-Marie (Ivan) Bonnick, Robert Sacco, René (Tiziana) Landry and his great-nephew Tyrell Bonnick. Predeceased by his parents Rémi and Alice (née Dorval) and his sister Lucy Sacco. Denis had a long tenured employment of 35 years working at General Drop Forge in Welland, Ontario. Denis was a proud member of the Temple Club of Welland. He loved playing cribbage, he played in the Welland Cribbage League and Niagara District Cribbage League for many years. Denis loved his hockey, especially watching his beloved Montreal Canadiens. Denis spent his last 13 years residing at Rapelje Lodge in Welland. The family would like to extend their sincerest thanks to the staff and nurses at Rapelje especially those working in Units 200 and 300 for their amazing care of Denis. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to WELLAND FUNERAL HOME. Keeping with Denis' wishes, cremation has taken place. A private burial at a later date.
