Obituary of Diane Barrette

It is with saddened hearts that the family of Diane Barrette announce her passing on Friday, September 9th, 2016 at Hospice Niagara after a 2 year battle with leukemia. Cherished daughter of Anita Iudiciani (Benny) and Aurèle Barrette (Fern). Loving sister of Louise Golden and her daughter Laura, Richard Barrette (the late Lise) and their children Eric and Mélise and Thérèse Grenier (Hugh "Dick") and their children Nick and Alex Reid. Diane will be forever remembered by her special friend Kim Warwick and her children Jamie, Ashley, Jay and Sashia and her grandchildren Colton, Zachary and Oliver. She will be sadly missed by her many aunts, uncles and cousins. Diane was a hardworking woman who enjoyed the outdoors. She was proud of her recent purchase of a pizzeria in Fort Erie 3 years ago. The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME 827 East Main Street, Welland on Tuesday, September 13th, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in Église Sacré Coeur on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
