Obituary of Louise Therrien

THERRIEN, Louise (1938 - 2016) On March 9, 2016, I lost my best friend, my mentor, pillar, my MOM, Louise. She is predeceased by my brother Real at 21 yrs of age (1985) and Dave at 45 yrs (2011), my daughter Rae Louise at 14 yrs (1994), my father Real (Ray) at 52 yrs (1988). She is survived by myself, Claire and husband Bob Asselin. Her sister Jeannine and husband Don Therrien, who is also my father's brother, and also nieces and nephews. There is nothing my mom wouldn't attempt, knitting, cooking, carpentry and in the end cab driving. She was my inspiration. As per mom's wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral Details A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from 1 to 4 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion on Morningstar Avenue. If desired, donations to Oakwood Park Lodge would be greatly appreciated. A very special Thank You to all my co-workers at Oakwood Park Lodge, where Mom has resided for the last 10 yrs, especially her care takers who have been there to help me for the last 9 days at her bedside.
