Loving father of Joanne Lamontagne Smith (Mark). Dear brother of Thérèse Brisson (Cyprien) and Marguerite Putman (Ron). Cherished grandpa of Julia, Cacey and Nathalie Smith. Wildy moved to Welland from Smooth Rock Falls in 1944. He started working for the railroad for a couple of years before landing a job at Union Carbide. It was the lay off from Union Carbide that directed Wildy to find new employment with 4500 Taxi in 1949. Wildy purchased his own car, a Plymouth, in 1950. A job that he wasn't planning on staying long at, turned into a career of over 40 years. Although he wasn't a traveller and didn't like to drive, he enjoyed meeting all kinds of people from all walks of life. Funeral Details In accordance with Wildy's wishes, cremation has taken place.
