Obituary of Madeleine Falardeau

Peacefully at the Foyer Richelieu Welland on January 15th, 2016, Madeleine (Dostie) Falardeau of Welland in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Felix Falardeau (1995). Loving mother of Gaëtane, Nelson (Pauline), Robert (Diane), Carole (Ernest Poulin) and Gilles (Nancy). Dear sister of Laurient (Rita) Dostie, Yves (Aline) Dostie, Gaëtan (Manon) Dostie and Gilberte Dostie. She will be sadly missed by her 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Napoleon and Marianne (Tardif) Dostie, one son Claude Falardeau, and one great granddaughter Angèle and numerous brothers and sisters. Madeleine was born in St. Méthode, Québec in 1922 and moved to Welland in 1939 where she worked at the Wabasso Cotton Mill for over 10 years. Funeral Details In accordance with Madeleine's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, 827 East Main Street, Welland, Thursday, January 21st, 2016 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Paroisse du Sacré Coeur, 72 Empire St., Welland on Friday, January 22nd, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Fonds Foyer Richelieu, Église du Sacré Coeur or Alzheimer's Society of Niagara would be appreciated by the family.
