Obituary of Claire Séguin

It is with saddened hearts but wonderful memories that we announce the passing of Claire Séguin in her 94 year at The Welland Hospital with her loving family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Rhéal Séguin. Daughter of the late Victor Dalcourt and the late Rose Alma Gagnon. Beloved mother of Lillian (Dennis) and Claudette (the late Ronald) Nolet. Dear sister to Rachelle, Pauline (Richard), Leonel (Lucienne). Adored by her 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Predeceased by her sons Cléo and Lucien (Luke), granddaughter Lynn Marr, her brothers Florian, Radolphe, Joseph, Yvon and Luc. Lovingly remembered by sisters- in-law, many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Claire was a member of "Les Filles d'Isabelle" for many years. She also really enjoyed her 20 years of volunteering at the soup kitchen. We take comfort that Claire is once again in the loving arms of Rhéal, her sons and granddaughter. Funeral Details The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME 827 East Main St., Welland, Friday July 10th,7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Saturday July 11th, 10am at Sts. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, 300 Chaffey St., Welland. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery will follow. Donations by cheque may be made in memory of Claire to the Canadian Cancer Society.
