Obituary of Lisette Jacques

JACQUES - LISETTE (Boily) - It is with broken hearts that the family of Lisette Jacques of Port Colborne, announces her passing on Saturday May 30th, 2015, at the Douglas Memorial Hospital, Fort Erie, at the age of 70 years, after a short and courageous battle with cancer. Beloved partner and companion of Bob Plain. Cherished mother of Norm Jacques (Debbie). Devoted grandmother of Dalton Jacques, Shelby Kremer (Pat). Loving sister of Wilfred "Alfie" Martineau (Roxanne), Gary Montambault (Dianne) and Maurice Montambault (Marie). Loved by her nieces and nephews; Josh, Craig, Courtenay, Casey, Michael and Maddison. Also survived by Bob's children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as she adored and cherished each of them as well as her many nieces and nephews in the Plain family. Predeceased by her parents Ludger and Jeannette Boily, Irene Montambault and Bob's children Brent Plain and Susan Clarkson. Born and raised in Welland, Lisette worked as a nurse for over 20 years at Sunset Haven. She was a loving and caring person whose greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was quick witted and could always make you laugh, even in the most difficult circumstances. Her family always looked to her for sound advice. Funeral Details In keeping with Lisette's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ronald McDonald House Charities Hamilton, would be appreciated by the family. Donations by cheque will be gratefully accepted by the Welland Funeral Home 827 East Main Street, Welland. We would like to thank Dr. Kim Scher, Denise, Wendy and nursing staff at the Douglas Memorial Hospital for the great care and compassion that was provided to Lisette. Heaven has gained another angel. Mom is now watching over Dalton with wings as he continues his journey. Service Information
