Obituary of Richard Holmes

Passed away quietly at his residence after losing his battle with cancer on May 4th, 2015, Richard Paul Holmes of Welland at the age of 59. Cherished son of Émile and Madeleine (Guillemette) Holmes. Loving father of Jennifer Huneault of Calgary and Johanna (Bill Crysler) of Fonthill. Dear brother of Robert (Cheryl), Dan (Dianne), Norman (Dallus) and Ron (Jocelyne). He also leaves behind his 4 grandchildren Jaden & Jaxon Huneault and Kaleb & Kaden Crysler. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Richard loved boating and fishing and enjoyed playing cards, especially Euchre. He also had a passion for a variety of music from Big Band to Rock & Roll. Funeral Details In accordance with Richard's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will welcome their relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, 827 East Main Street, Welland Friday, May 8th, 2015 from 10 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Inurnment will follow in Pleaseantview Memorial Gardens.
