Obituary of Giorgia Giovinazzo

On Saturday April 11th, 2015, at Rapelje Lodge, Mrs. Giorgia Giovinazzo at the age of 90. Beloved wife for 65 years of the late Giorgio Giovinazzo (2007). Loving mother of Giselle Marcello (Vince) of Welland, Anne Musgrave (Bryce) of Welland, Joann Dear (Tony) of Thornhill and Carolina Rotella (Tom) of Markham. Cherished grandmother of George Marcello (Robin), David (Debi) Musgrave, Kevin Musgrave, Courtney Dear, Michael Rotella, Paul Rotella, Christopher Rotella and great grandmother of Hailey and Nikolas Marcello and Jaclyn and Ethan Musgrave. Dear sister in law of Paolo Talanti. She was predeceased by her parents Giovanni and Carolina Vinciguerra and her brother Giorgio(Dina) and sister Rina. Mrs Giovinazzo was born in San Piero a Sieve, Florence, Italy. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Society. A special thank you to the staff of Rapelje Lodge for the wonderful care of our mom during her stay and to special friend Noreen Brenner for her love and kindness. We are forever grateful. Funeral Details The family will receive relatives and friends at the Welland Funeral Home 827 East Main Street, Welland on Monday from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday at 11am in St Andrew the Apostle Church. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to St Andrew the Apostle church, Rapelje Lodge or Sacred Heart Sisters will be appreciated by the family.
