Obituary of Marcel Strasbourg

Passed away at the Welland Hospital on February 27, 2015 Marcel Strasbourg of Welland in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Yolande (Lemay). Loving father of Céline (Michel Chabot) and Louise Strasbourg. Dear brother of Lucien (Gilberte), Gérald (Doris) and Simone Veillette. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren; Daniel (Allecia), Kevin and Jason Chabot and great granddaughter Charlotte. Predeceased by his parents Rosaire and Nella (Schryer), his brothers Martial & René and sisters Cécile Légendre & Georgette Carrier. Marcel was born in Shawinigan Sud, Québec in 1930 and moved to Welland in 1968. He worked for the City of Welland until his retirement. Funeral Details The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, 827 East Main St., Welland, Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday at Paroisse du Sacré Coeur 72 Empire St., Welland at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
