Obituary of Angelo Voitsidis

After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of Angelo Voitsidis at Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital surrounded by his family on February 6th, 2015 in his 70th year. Devoted husband of Gisèle (née Paré) of 41 years. Cherished father of Lisa (Chad Marr). Survived by his brother Christos Voitsidis (Pashalia) of Greece and his sister Vasiliki Haitas (George) of Hamilton. He will also be missed by his sister-in-law Micheline (Roger Dallaire) of Welland, brothers-in-law Muriel Paré and Jean-Claude 'John' Paré both of Welland. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews and extended family. Funeral Details The family will receive relatives and friends at the Welland Funeral Home 827 East Main Street, Welland, Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Cremation will follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations by cheque to the Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre Foundation or online at www.hamiltonhealth.ca will be appreciated by the family.
