Our heartfelt condolences on the death of cousin Tim, especially during these incredibly challenging times as the world contends with the viral outbreak. Grieving is hard enough without having to contend with maintaining physical distance to halt the spread.
I recall a gift that Tim gave to my Mom, Tim’s Aunt Margaret. It was a desktop lamp that he had crafted from an assortment of kitchen gadgets. Mom thought it was weird – but she was amused and amazed that it worked every time she switched it on. I hope that Tim knew how pleased Mom was with that funny little lamp. It was a perfect gift – it was joyful, provided light, and was a conversation starter. I like to think it was just a little bit like Tim.
