Obituary GUILLEMETTE - André 1939-2019 With his family at his side, André passed peacefully on December 23, 2019 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Huguette (née Bédard). Loving father of Alain (Natalie), Patrick (Annelyn) and Carole (Tony Franco). Dear brother of Gilles (Marie), Jacqueline (Arthur Boulanger), Ghyslaine (André Bilodeau) and Thérèse. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Grant and Kevin and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; Delphis and Maria (née Fournier) and one brother Marcel. The family would like to thank all the dedicated staff from VON, St-Elisabeth, Care partners, ParaMed, HNHB local health integration network and Dr. Dooler for their kind, caring and compassionate approach to the care André received. The Guillemette family is deeply grateful to all these organizations because without them it would not have been possible for him to pass away at home amongst his beloved family. The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME 827 East Main Street, Welland on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Église Sacré Coeur 72 Empire St., Welland on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
