Obituary of Yolande Claire (Babin) Corriveau
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Yolande Corriveau (née Babin), at the Foyer Richelieu on January 11, 2021 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Laurent Corriveau. Loving mother of Louise Kirouac (Steve), Pauline Côté (Rick), Hélène Baiton (late John) and Raymond (Josée Charlebois). Cherished memère of Steve (Linda), Krystle (Andy), Stacey (Bruno), Jessica (Jesse), Jay (Kristen), Raeanne and Isabella. Great-grandmother to Maverick, Kenzie, Carter, Cohen, Oasis, Scarlett, and Drew. Also survived by her brothers Raymond (Shirley), Camille (late Dorothy) and Bernard (late Julienne) and her sister-in-law Carmen (late Roger). She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents Michel and Hectorine (née Bernard) Babin and her sister Angela (Lionel), brothers Jean-Claude (Donna), Régis (Mimi).
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to WELLAND FUNERAL HOME. In accordance with Yolande’s wishes, Cremation has taken place and a private service will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to The Walker Family Cancer Centre or McMaster Children’s Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family.
