Obituary of Lorraine Mitchell
Lorraine M. Mitchell (Lori)...otherwise known as “Mom”, “Ma” and “Nana” to most, born on September 6th, 1939, would like you all to know that her job here is done.
She received an offer that she just couldn’t refuse, with a 100% guarantee to be reunited with the many loved ones she has been missing who have gone on before her, most importantly: her husband, Scotty Mitchell, her daughter Brenda and husband Danny Guay, her beloved parents, Henry and Nellie Baccus, her brother, John Baccus, and lovely brother- in-laws, Tom Hall and Edward Kulbaba. She is happily looking forward to embracing the many friends who will be leading the parade as she makes her arrival at her final destination.
Although those of us left behind: “favorite” son Michael, his patient wife, Darlene, and eldest grandson Robert Mitchell, youngest daughter Cory, husband David and youngest grands Kelly and Owen Cooley, middle grandson Brandon Guay, a number of beloved siblings, nieces and nephews and two very special life-long friends, Gary and Margaret Mills will miss her terribly, we bid her a tearful farewell, a heartfelt thank you, cheers and godspeed as she journeys onward. Give everyone our best and enjoy your place in Sainthood, Nana...after all, you put up with dad for all those years.
There will be no services at this time, but please join us at a later date for a celebration of Nana’s life and a swapping of stories as we raise our glasses to one tough cookie!
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to WELLAND FUNERAL HOME. Keeping with Lorraine’s wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the charity of your choosing and be sure to love those closest to you. Nana would approve!
