Obituary of Louise Currie

Obituary CURRIE - Louise 1958-2019 It is with extremely heavy hearts that the family of Louise Currie (nee Roy/Rideout) announce the sudden passing on July 14, 2019 at the Welland Hospital just three days shy of her 61st birthday. She was a devoted wife of Bruce. Loving mother and step mother of Christopher, Amy, Austin (Ashley), Kelly (Joe), Barbara and Dawn (Ashley). She was adored and will be greatly missed by her grandchildren; Jared, Brandon, Kyle, Kiah, Ethan, Destra, Tyriese, Avyana and her fur-baby Huey. Dear sister of André (Kristy), Solange (Jim), Thérèse (Tim), Ginette (Neil). Predeceased by her parents; Huebert and Jeannette (nee Beland) Roy and her brother Daniel. Louise was a long time employee of Joe's Restaurant on King St. and will always be remembered for her loyalty, big heart, passionate ways of life and most of all her witty sarcastic ways. She will be greatly missed by her extended family and friends. Special thank you to the doctors and staff at Welland Hospital, third floor Telemetry unit. The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME 827 East Main St., Welland on Friday, July 19, 2019 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Welland Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation will follow.
