Obituary of Marion Morin
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Morin (nee Leslie) on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, peacefully at her home surrounded by family at the age of 78. Beloved wife of Jules Morin for 59 years. Cherished mother of Kevin Morin (late 1975), Karen Mansell (Steve late 2015), April Robert (David) and Raymond Morin (Shari). She will be sadly missed by her 7 grandchildren; Chris, Jeff, Nicole, Eric, Sarah, Samantha and Brenden. Dear sister of; Donald Leslie (Marion), Joan Cunningham (late Gord), and Alfred Leslie (Gloria). Marion was predeceased by her parents Raymond and Linda Leslie (nee Huffman).
Marion enjoyed life to the fullest and was happiest spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother that always put her family first. She was an avid golfer, and most days she could be seen on the links with friends and family. Special thanks to all the health care staff that supported her through her short illness.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME 827 East Main Street, Welland on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Doan’s Ridge Cemetery. Please click the R.S.V.P. link above to schedule your attendance for the service. Those attending are required to wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines. Lining-up and cycling of guests will be managed by the funeral home staff both indoors and outdoors. Given COVID considerations there will be no reception to follow. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
