Obituary of James Murphy
On Saturday November 6th, 2021, James passed away at the Welland Hospital at the age of 60.
Loving father of Jeremy and Nicole (Jacob). Cherished companion of Carol Waldram. Dear brother of Cheryl (Dave) Anger, Ed (Debbie) Murphy and Dave (Sherri) Murphy. James will be sadly missed by his stepmother Pat and grandchildren Jayden and Abigail as well as by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents James Murphy and Patricia Gaulin, son Michael and stepfather Lucien.
James worked at 4500 Taxi for many years as a dispatcher and driver.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Welland Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre 827 East Main Street Welland on Friday from 10am until 12pm. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Please click the R.S.V.P. link through our website to schedule your attendance. For those that do not have access to our website please call to reserve your attendance. Those that attend are required to wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines. Lining-up and cycling of guests will be managed by the funeral home staff both indoors and outdoors. If desired donations to the Niagara Health-Welland Site will be greatly appreciated by the family.
