Obituary of Chantal Dionne
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chantal Therese Dionne on December 4, 2021, in her 67th year at the Welland NHS Hospital. She is now peacefully at rest with her parents who predeceased her: Desire Dionne (1986) and Rita Dionne (née Dupont) (2015). Chantal will be lovingly remembered by her brothers; Marcel Dionne (Celine), Claude Dionne (Helene) and sisters Colette Lamontagne and Nicole LeBelle-Baiano (David). Also fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews; Roxanne, Christian, Daniel, Nathalie, Valerie, Marc, Gary, LeeAnn, Renee and Jason. Chantal also had Many great-nieces and nephews. Chantal’s quest for knowledge was unstoppable and helped make everyday an interesting part of her journey through life.
Many thanks to Dr. Mazzetti and the amazing nurses on the 6th floor of the Welland hospital for the compassion they showed to our family. We also wish to thank the caring staff at Royal Rose Place Nursing Home. Arrangements entrusted to the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will take place at a later date.
