Obituary of Yvon Raby
With saddened hearts the family of Yvon Raby announce his passing at home in Welland, Ontario on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at the age of 84. Predeceased by the love of his life, his wife Madeleine (Beaudoin) Raby (2011) of 54 years. Loving father of Annette (Tim), Pat (Christine), Richard (Paula), Danny (Debbie), Roger (Lorraine), and Carole (Don). Dear brother of Rollande (Heinz). Dear grandfather to Michael, Raymond, Donald, April, Robert, Linda, Mark, Eric, Kevin, Michelle, Justin and Blake, proud great-grandfather to 14 great-grandchildren. Yvon will be missed by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father George (1970), mother Lumina (1971), 11 siblings and 2 grandchildren Kyle (1991) and Alain (2006). Yvon worked for many years for Emslie Transportation, as a truck driver.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, RECEPTION AND CREMATION CENTRE 827 East Main St., Welland, Friday, February 11, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Eglise Sacré Coeur at 1:00pm. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Respecting the restrictions due to COVID-19, guests are required to pre-book attendance, wear a mask, and follow social distancing guidelines.
