Obituary of Leandre Morency

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leandre Morency on April 5, 2022, at Woodlands of Sunset surrounded by his family, at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Yvette (née Légaré) for 65 years. Cherished father of Jacques (Linda), Paul (Larry), Daniel (Jodi). He will be sadly missed by his 4 grandchildren; Beau, Marc, Michael, Dawson and 4 great-grandchildren; Logan, Leia, Avery and Madden. Dear brother of Gilbert (Claude), Ludger, Robert (Gisele), Marcelle (late Raymond), Claudette (late Maurice) and Ghislaine. Predeceased by his parents Ernest & Annette (née Roy) and his siblings; Denise, Ernestine (Raphael), Leonel (Jeannine) and Rene (Cecile).

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE. Keeping with Leandre’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends for a graveside service at Holy Cross Cemetery on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. Donations made to Woodlands of Sunset would be appreciated by the family.
