Obituary of Earl Eli Chambers

Obituary Passed away peacefully at the Welland Hospital on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Barbara Ann (nee Austin) of 67 years. Father of Elaine Brear (Terry), Kathy Gelineau (Mike). Grandfather of 2 grandsons Matthew Brear (Jessica), Kyle Brear (Sonya) and 4 great grandchildren Seth, Dallas, Wyatt and Kyana. Survived by his sisters-in-law Joyce and Joan Chambers and many nieces, nephews and close friends. Predeceased by his brothers Alvin, Clarence and his sister Muriel Carl. Earl was a mechanic at Regional Niagara for 48 years. His passions included fishing, hunting, "tinkering" and spending time at his cottages in Whitestone. His longest passion was being a member of the Cooks Mills Ramblers from 1948-2003. Special thanks to all his doctors and staff in ER and 4th floor. In accordance with Earl's wishes, cremation has taken place. Private graveside service will be held. A Celebration of Life will take place at Barb and Earl's home on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 12-4 p.m. Funeral arrangements were entrusted with WELLAND FUNERAL HOME 827 East Main Street, Welland.
