Obituary of Louis Toulouse
Our family has the sad task of announcing the passing of Louis “Rocky” Toulouse on November 20, 2022, at the age of 93. He now joins his beloved wife, Anne Marie Fournier (2014), and their cherished son, Bobby (2021), in heaven. Rocky will forever be in the hearts of his children; Gina (Bruce), Joanne and Dave (Jaye). Proud grandfather of Vanessa (Mike), Marc (Victoria), Jillianne, Katelyn (Sean) and McKenzie (Jason), Lisa and Tammy, great-granddaughters Bria and Katie, great- grandson Andrew and great-great grandson Daniel. Predeceased by his parents Adolphe Toulouse and Odélie Dutil, as well as his siblings, Marius, Gaston, Jean Paul, Champlain, Hector, Fernand, Marie Louis, Aline, Lucienne, Marie Paul, Simone and Mariette.
Rocky worked at Page Hersey for 35 years, making friends along the way. He enjoyed playing pool and going for walks. He adored watching Nascar and baseball with his family. We are grateful to Francine, Bonita and all of the staff at the Foyer Richelieu for their excellent care of our father.
The family will receive family and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 827 East Main Street Welland on Thursday, November 24, 2022, from 8:00-9:45 a.m., followed by a funeral mass held at 10:00 a.m. at Paroisse Sacré-Coeur in Welland. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Fonds Foyer Richelieu would be greatly appreciated by the family.
