Obituary of Rita Campbell
It is with profound sadness we announce the death of Rita Campbell (neé Valcourt) on March 22, 2023 at Greater Niagara General Hospital. She is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Alan; her two children, Adam (Drew) Campbell and Ashley (Justin) Bolduc. Rita will be fondly remembered by her adoring grandchildren, Tristan, Audrey, Benjamin and Adelyn. Loving sister of Onilda (Guy) Marleau, Edwina Valcourt, Dianne (Line Morin) Valcourt, Adrien Valcourt, Claudette (Peter) DeKoning, Lucien Valcourt and Carmen (Jacques) Forget, and aunt to many nieces and nephews. Rita is predeceased by her parents, Lorette and Moise Valcourt.
You can’t think of Rita without acknowledging her passion for crafting, genealogy and reading, along with her devotion to the public library system and children’s literacy. We raise our glass to a beautiful, selfless individual.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 827 East Main Street, Welland on Friday, March 31, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. As expression of sympathy, donations made to Niagara Health Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
