Dear Angie and family, your mom's love of life was contagious and exemplary. It was honest and came from a big-hearted woman. She offered me a bowl of alphabet soup one day while I was visiting. I still remember sitting down at the table to eat, all the while wondering how someone could make a simple bowl of soup taste so good. My next thought was a vivid memory of sitting in my own grand-maman's kitchen. Your mom readily shared that gift. Thank you Mme Bernard. Big hugs Angie.

We just found out today that your mother Lucette had passed away and we were deeply saddened to hear this. We have so many found memories of fun times with your parents, Lucette and Camille, and the family. We were always made to feel like we were part of the family, mind you we practically grew up with all of you. From the sleepovers, the parties and Bernard gatherings, there was always and abundance of laughter and good times to be shared.

Annette and Angela I am so sorry for the loss of your amazing mom. My late mom Dolly Kolacz always said of your mom to be one of her closest and truest friends as teenagers and early 20’s growing up together. They had stories to tell I knew it by the look on their faces and the boisterous laughter from our moms when they spoke about those days.
What I remember most about your mom was her patience and gentle way she managed to help me with my grade school French always incorporating a few words into our visits to your place so it felt as normal as tying your shoe she would tell me.
And what I loved most about your mom was that huge welcoming smile and that hug that only a mom could give.
