I am so very sorry to hear of Ray's passing. Hard to believe it was over 40yrs ago I met Ray and your family. We had great fun when we were kids, through high school and as adults.
Ray was a great man, always had something good to say, and would always say hello if you saw him. We would get into conversations when we met and laugh about our experiences in the past. I didn't see Ray often,especially after marriage and raising a family. As I said, we see each other on occasion and the best thing about it was, no matter how long between meeting up, it was like I was talking with him the day before. Like we never missed a day, just picked up where we left off.
